My mother was an excellent knitter, and we always had hats, mittens, scarves, and the whole shebang when growing up. My father used to say, 'Need mittens? Wait an hour; your mother will knit you a pair'. She was That Good.
Well, I don't knit. (sorry mom). I do sew, however, and I like to sew polar fleece, so I make hats. The problem is, I keep losing my hats! I just had to make another one today.
Somewhere out there, there are a lot of people wearing the hats that I've dropped or left behind. I hope their heads are warm. I'll just make another one.
Here's the latest.
So I made a couple of them this time. All of these hats come from the first two Polarfleece Pizzaz! books. They have wonderful patterns for all sorts of fantastic polar fleece items.
I'm just an ordinary computer geek who sews in her spare time. My mother started teaching me when I was 4 years old. That's a lot of years of sewing! Everyone keeps asking me "Where can I see pictures of what you have sewn?" and thus this blog was born.

Happy New Year 2014!
I started out my new year by sewing again for the shelter animals.
